The EGU General Assembly 2022 is a golden on-site experience for geoscientists from all over the world to gather and exchange ideas on all disciplines of the Earth, planetary and space sciences. During the conference, the scientists have the chance to present their work and engage with the other participants.

The first RiskPACC Project presentation on Integrating risk perception and technological solutions to enhance response to natural hazards entails an overview of the Project’s objectives along with a specific focus on the need to enhance both individual and collective disaster resilience and the crucial role new emerging technologies play in the preparedness and response to such disasters.

The second RiskPACC Project presentation on Immersive technologies to proactively prepare for and effectively respond to natural disasters will showcase the application of a crowdsourcing solution meant to provide early warnings and real-time interaction between Civil Protection Agencies and citizens for the purpose of boosting preparedness and response phases to disastrous natural hazard events.
